The moving background will be a movie loop over which the photos would keep falling out. If we do not provide the background movement the photos would fall in a stack over each other which may not look good.
Pls. advise.

I agree with moving background.
Please suggest your estimation on efforts it would require to implement
Sudhir Kelappan on September 4, 2012:
Hi Denis,
Assuming that the background video would be provided to us, this would take approximately 2 weeks (10 working days).
There is no standard way of doing this and it may require lot of iterations to achieve the perfection and desired effect.
Pls. advise
Regards, -Sudhir
Denis Slabakov on September 5, 2012:
Yes, please proceed.
Current background should stay intact. You can assume that background video is 100% transparent, it would create an effect that photos are sliding behind box walls.
Photos should be moving from top to the bottom.
Sudhir Kelappan on September 7, 2012:
Hi Denis,
We have uploaded a build which shows a work in progress version of this.
Pls. ignore the photo movements as they are in reverse direction than expected.
Need your inputs on whether we retain the wooden box and the slot from which the photos emerge.
Right now the photos emerge from the slot and fall deep into the box. It takes some time to reach the bottom of the box. After it falls to the bottom it starts to slide.
Regards, -Sudhir

Please revert to previous scenario, we will come back to this todo later on.

Please go through video examples in this thread.
I want more realistic photos falling on splash screen - movement and lighting
Please let me know what you can suggest.
Denis

Dear Denis,
It would be possible to do something similar to the very first example.
