Discussion about Job Order creation

Posted by Sudhir Kelappan on July 26, 2012

Hi Victor,Denis

For MyTask, we have certain queries that we would like to clarify with you, related to Job Order creation.

While creating a Job, when we are adding a location, two radio buttons have been provided which are
'Specific location' and 'Anywhere'. Could you please elaborate us on what happens when 'Anywhere' radio
button is clicked.

Also regarding the custom template based on the comments mentioned earlier, for some orders
it would be hard to choose an existing template. In this case, client will customize the step-by-step
description, choosing the instruments; he needs, like “list of products” and “timeline”. Could you please
let us know what exactly  “list of products” and “timeline” is meant by??

Victor Metelskiy on July 26, 2012:

1)'Anywhere' radio button
Agents from anywhere can apply for task execution. There will be no need to set locations. Client will only write, how many tasks he want to receive from all over the world.
Most probably, it will be used for surveys.

2)"Timeline" ------> "list of occasions" we used to call with other word before. I already gave an explanation of what "list of occasions" is. Let me know, if anything is unclear about that.

3)"List of products"

Client can describe product, which needs to be explored. He can add as many products as he needs. Each product has a name/ text descrtiption  field + photo upload/google images photo field, where the client is able to upload the photo of the product himself or types in the product name and chooses the picture from google images (like in prezi.com) . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5z242qFktvY

Hi Victor

Thank you so much for the query.
One clarification we required was whether "timeline" and "list of products" will be used depending on the task type, while creating the templates.

Also, you had mentioned about photo upload while explaining "list of Products".
Is this upload similar to the "Upload examples" mentioned in the wire frame while creating SBSD and is this "Upload examples" required for all templates.

Victor Metelskiy on July 27, 2012:

1)"Timeline" and "list of products" will not be used in some of the templates, not all of them
2) Yes, it is actually the same feature.
3) Not for all. For the beginning it is required for the "Shop audit" and has to be provided as an option for "custom" template.

Sudhir Kelappan on August 1, 2012:

Dear Victor,
Need to discuss the following to have full understanding of "new job order creation"  and to correct any errors in our understanding
Pls. do bear with us if there is any repetition or mismatch from previous queries/discussions

Template Drop Down:
As discussed so far, there are 5 values that can appear in the template drop-down:
  1. Mystery Shopping
  2. Store Audit
  3. Survey
  4. Video reporter
  5. Good Maker
and one additional value == “Custom”. So a total of 6 values in the drop down.
Pls. confirm this understanding.

The value == “Custom” is will allow the user (the “Client”) to define new templates for his own use if any of the 5 pre-defined templates does not suit his purpose.
Pls. confirm this understanding.

SBSDs:
Each of the 5 pre-defined templates (and any that come up in future) will have  an SBSD associated with it. But this will be an optional field when creating the Job Order.
Pls. confirm this understanding

The details of the SBSDs will be detailed. So far we have finalized for “Mystery Shopping” only.

Mandatory fields in Job Order :
For all Job orders the following fields will be mandatory:
    1. Description,
    2. End date( i.e, “When Order should be completed”) ,
    3. Price range.
Pls. confirm

New Template Creation by Client:
Assuming it is done by choosing “Custom” from the template drop down;

    a. The user will have the option to choose additional form components (additional to the mandatory fields) so that he can compose a new form.

    b. The user can choose to include a SBSD in the form. If so he will have to create  a new SBSD.

    c. Because of above we will need to consider a way for allowing custom SBSD creation in the system.

Pls. confirm

Pre-populating of values:
Case 1: When user chooses one of the 5 types Template Types(i.e. not “Custom”). E.g. when he chooses “Mystery Shopping”:

     a. The Mandatory fields of the Job Order gets pre-filled with values.

     b. The fields in the SBSD associated with it also get pre-filled.

Case 2: When user chooses “Custom”  Template:
No pre-filling happens for any fields.

Pls. confirm

Yes, and these fields should be editable.

3)"So far we have finalized for “Mystery Shopping” only. ". I have also sent you the Survey SBSD. Please find attached.

Everything else is comfirmed

Sudhir Kelappan on August 1, 2012:

Thanks Victor !  Will get back with some follow-up questions on creating custom SBSD and custom form elements.

Yes we have the Survey SBSD.
Just to clarify, since we haven't submitted the wireframe for that to you, it is not in "Finalized" status.
